During a visit to Miss Ruth’s Time Bomb, you can find all kinds of treasures, including vintage apparel and accessories. The owners of the shop visit all areas of the country to look for treasures to offer to their devoted client base. You’re sure to stand out when you shop at this spot and add new looks to your closet. The location is open on Wednesday and Thursday from 12 to 5 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Serendipity Antique Gallery
Serendipity Antique Gallery is a popular antique shop in Carlisle, but it’s more than just a place to shop. The owners work to educate visitors about the history of the nation through the creation of items aimed at making everyday life easier and more convenient. While browsing through the selection, you can find pieces that come from different cultures, including German shrunks, which are tall furniture pieces that contain cabinetry, shelving, and/or drawers, and harvest tools and baskets that come from China and Japan.
You can also look at the hand-painted items, including steamer pots, bread boards, and immigrant trunks and chests, each of which tell a unique story about what life was like many years ago. The gallery also added a few new critters, or animal figures and statues, that you can take your picture with to celebrate the start of spring.
