The 2023 Buick Envision has plenty of hidden features to discover. This compact SUV includes an impressive infotainment system, advanced driver assist features, and a powerful engine.
The Engine
The Envision is equipped with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine and a 9-speed automatic transmission. This vehicle delivers a maximum of 228 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft of torque. The engine is capable of start/stop technology. There is a deactivation switch so that drivers can choose whether they want this function enabled.
This model averages 23 miles to the gallon in the city and achieves an average of 31 miles to the gallon on the highway. The vehicle comes with front-wheel drive, but there is an available option to change this to all-wheel drive.

Buick Driver Confidence is an extensive package of driver-assistive safety technology. The manufacturer has added this package as standard across all three trim levels on the 2023 Envision. These features include a following distance indicator, automatic emergency braking, and front pedestrian braking.
Additionally, the package comes with IntelliBeam, a forward collision alert, and lane keep assist with a lane departure warning. There is also an available HD rear vision camera which is standard on the top-tier Avenir trim level.
Trim Levels
Buick has made three trim levels available for this model. These start with the base-level Preferred trim. The next option is the Essence, which adds features like a 10.2-inch touchscreen and power liftgate. The next tier is the Avenir, which adds a nine-speaker sound system, front park assist, and HD surround vision.
Infotainment
The entry-level Envision comes with an eight-inch diagonal high-resolution color touchscreen. This system includes Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wireless Android Auto capabilities. It also includes USB ports and standard AM/FM radio.
The base trim level has the option to upgrade this system to a 10.2-inch touchscreen that comes standard on the upper trim levels. This larger screen also adds the ability to download third-party apps and create personal profiles to customize your settings. There is also available Amazon Alexa built-in.
Available Wireless Smartphone Charging
The car’s infotainment system comes with two USB charging ports behind the center console. If you prefer to avoid having to use a cord, you’ll want to upgrade to the Avenir. This trim level comes with wireless smartphone charging for compatible phones.
Available Head-Up Display
The Envision has an available six-inch head-up display (HUD). This display will appear on the windshield in front of the driver. The driver has the ability to customize what vehicle information appears in the HUD.
This feature isn’t available for the base trim level. It is available on the Essence and standard on the Avenir.
