Rear seatback storage with two compartments and under-seat storage are available so kids can stash their belongings and keep the cabin looking tidy. You’ll also find a storage tray on the instrument panel, a lighted center console storage, and a large lower glove box and upper glove box that are lockable.
There’s plenty of room for all your gear or luggage in the truck bed, which has up to 71.1 cubic feet of space. The bed is made of a high-strength roll-formed steel that makes it very durable. There are 12 tie-downs to keep your cargo in place and a 120-volt outlet comes standard on SLT trim level and is available for the SLE and Elevation trims. Loading and unloading is made easy with the six-function MultiPro Tailgate, which features a fold-out step.
4. It Can Really Haul
Setting out for a weekend of family fun is easy with the Sierra. When properly outfitted, the 2020 Sierra can tow up to 12,100 pounds, allowing you to take the boat to the lake or tow your trailer full of toys. Opt for the available ProGrade Trailering System, integrated trailer brake controller, and trailer tow mirrors for more ease when towing. The available X31 Off-Road Package lets you drive off the pavement and spend the day off-roading over boulders and trails.
5. It Has Innovative Safety Features
The 2020 Sierra comes complete with innovative safety technologies to ensure your family is safe on the road. Standard and available safety features include adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and lane departure warning, lane change alert with side blind zone alert, and forward collision alert.
