Cafe Bruges

Carlisle Diner

Carlisle Diner on West High Street serves locals tasty food in a cozy setting 24 hours a day. The family-owned restaurant prepares its famed breakfasts and burgers fresh daily. Scalles

Scalles is a Carlisle staple housed in a historic warehouse that dates back to the late 1800s. For more than 30 years, the restaurant has served comfort food and burgers that diners rave about. Order the mushroom Swiss burger, the hefty 8-ounce cheeseburger, the Black Jack chicken burger, a turkey burger, or a veggie burger. Scalles also serves subs, sandwiches, and wraps.

Try the Molly Burger, which includes 8 ounces of chuck and short ribs, plus soft cow’s cheese, local Swiss, ginger peach chutney, and mixed greens on a brioche bun. Or order the juicy Mifflin Bull Burger, which comes with an 8-ounce bison patty, local Swiss cheese, Whiskey Rings (thick onion rings), and Rebel Sauce on a pretzel roll.
